Losing a husband in Nigeria often means losing income, housing security and social standing at the same time. Many widows are left to raise children alone with no safety net.
In February 2025 we began giving 13 widows a monthly contribution toward rent, food, utilities and other necessities. By March the group had grown to 14, and in May we increased each widow's support by 50%.
We have not missed a month since. A monthly gift is the most direct way to keep it that way.
What we do
School fees, supplies and mentorship so children stay in class.
Safe, secure housing for families with nowhere else to turn.
Food supplies and feeding programmes for orphanages and families in crisis.
Access to medical care, counselling and mental health support.
Regular financial help with rent, utilities, clothing and hygiene.
Business support so widows can earn a lasting income.
Outreach and events that build a network of people who care.
“Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to act.”
